Wafbusters

There are a huge number of street food waffle representatives on the market. You can try anything from Viennese to Japanese waffles. The identity of such establishments looks similar. In the logo there is always a stylised image of a waffle, and the corporate identity is built on the basic food colours of fast food: red and yellow. We tried to get away from these patterns. Impudence, brightness, action, humour, sincerity and drive are what we took as a basis for creating a brand. The naming of Wafbusters refers to the well-known image of superheroes of the 1990s: the four brave ghost hunters, aka Ghostbusters, only in our case the rules of the game have changed. The heroes of the project are waffles with textured appearance and vivid characters that hunt for the most delicious fillings.
Illustrative stories of waffles and toppings continue through the cafe’s design, staff uniforms and menus. We have paid attention to the packaging for the Wafbusters products. Before the rebranding, the company used a regular paper bag, which was not suitable for the take-away format. Therefore, we have developed special cardboard boxes so that clients can take away the waffles easily. Today, Wafbusters is a network of cafes located in 45 cities and 55 points around the world from Ashgabat to Los Angeles. The crazy popularity of the product is evidenced by the army of fans, which is easy to find on Instagram and Vkontakte using the hashtag #Wafbusters.
