Vodnikov


The Vodnikov medical centre is one of the oldest hospitals in Volgograd. It has been operating for over 70 years, and at the time of its opening it was the most modern, equipped and comfortable hospital for patients. In 2015, we began working on a separate minimally invasive surgery centre within the hospital complex. It was important for us to reflect the modern service to the treatment of patients, deal with innovative equipment and treatment safety. To achieve this goal, we chose a new name for the brand: Vodnikov Centre for Innovative Surgery, which doesn’t focus on complex terms, but on a key advantage.
On the one hand, the design is inspired by the long history of the brand, and hence this particular solution in the style of a modern coat of arms. On the other hand, it was important to convey surgical precision, rigor, reliability and rationality. For this, we used the format of a medical card with tabular columns. The main corporate colour palette was intense blue and accentuated red, which perfectly illustrate the brand’s expert position. We are glad that the centre is working effectively today and helps its patients to maintain health for many years.
